The Bull was up on the wall surrounding Skyhold. There had been an influx of newcomers who were pledging themselves to the cause and the sounds and smells and everything was hitting his senses hard today. Too hard. He could feel them pushing all other thought away from his head, and all the control. He tries to find a quiet corner to deal with it.

Krem, on the other hand, has been paying attention to the newcomers and he could feel the draw of the guide almost instantly. He smiles slightly to himself, that would be good, he knows both him and Bull need it. It isn't until everyone is in the great hall until he notices that Bull has been gone for a long time. Too long. He swallows and shakes his head, going looking for his boss.

A few minutes later he comes back into the hall, not hurrying but certainly in a rush. He comes up to the guide and taps him on the shoulder. "Excuse me, sir, can I have a word?"

Bull blinks and looks up at him. Trying to figure out just exactly what he means by that. It is odd hearing a guide talking about it as a service they offer. Not that Bull dislikes that by any means, it is just different.

"And in return?" Nothing is ever free after all

"I would have priority in hiring you for tasks. Paid tasks, of course, as a mercenary company."

He spreads his hands.

"And of course the knowledge that you'd never take an assignment directly against me. I'd truly hate to kill you both."

He holds up a hand.

"And if you're unaware of my dealings in a matter, I would of course not hold you responsible should you be hired to interfere with something."

"There is a slight problem there. The Inquisition has priority right now. We are already signed on for them. But if you are alright with being second in line after them that is something I can work with. I'll talk it over with Krem of course." He licks his lips.

"Are you staying with the Inquisition long?"

"Given that I'll be working with the Inquisition for the moment, I doubt there should be any real conflict," he says with a spread of his hands. "After all, if my time is primarily taken up with the Inquisitions work, I should think yours would be as well."

"Well, the time that isn't taken up with a good round in a tavern." Bull smiles slightly and looks up at Clark. He reaches out so his hand is travelling over Clark's side. He wants to touch this guide, he's always been a tactile guy and this feels so good."

Clark doesn't look troubled by the touch, none of the physicality, really. Instead-

"Do you need skin contact?"

Bull nods. "It helps. It makes it easier to ground myself." To anyone, but especially to guides. He licks his lips and then reaches up to start undoing the other's shirt. "Besides you're a good looking guy"

The smirk he gives has not an ounce of shame or humility. Instead, he starts on another section of his clothes, tugging them off as soon as he can.

"I'm gorgeous. It's one of my better qualities."

He tilts his head towards Bull.

"If you need something, you should say something from now on."

Bull laughed. "And humility isn't." He nods at the order. "Yes, Boss." Then he leans in to kiss Clark's stomach. He wraps his arms around him and pulls him back towards the bed, aiming to roll on top of him if he gets him down there.

"I don't see in the point in it so I've never invested much in it," is his answer to that, and he looks pleased at the affirmative.

But when Bull rolls him, he goes as easily as if he weighed almost nothing. Wherever Bull decides to put him, so shall he go. He won't look uncomfortable with Bull on top of him either.

Bull doesn't put any pressure on him, the Qunari has been with enough smaller lovers to know to be careful now. Instead, he leans down to kiss Clark properly. He makes sure to pin him down though, a light playful growl in his voice. "You sure you can handle a qunari?"

Clark looks up at him, utterly unworried and definitely unafraid. On hand strokes up and down his arm, prompting him to relax. He doesn't need to support himself. Really, he knows what he can handle.

"You should be far more concerned about whether you can handle me."

Bull laughs at that. A warm fond laugh. "I like a challenge." He leans down, letting Clark feel some of his weight but not overwhelming him as he kisses him again, his free hand moving down to work on the other's pants. "Tell me what you're into, guide." half a question half a command.

There's a blur of movement and speed which ends with Clark on top of Bull, smirking down at him. He's naked at this point, entirely, his clothing folded neatly on the chair near the bed. And while one hand is centred on Bull's chest, the other is starting to undo his pants.

"I like it when my partner understands what I want. And that I intend to get it."

His hand smooths between Bull's legs, almost a stroke but not quite.

Moan groans and presses up against the hand. Even among Qunari there aren't many that can manhandle him like that And he likes it. He squirms so the pants slide further down. "Sounds like me." He raises his hand and lets his nails trail down over Clark's back. "What about a little roughness?"

"How rough can you take it?" he asks with a tilt of his head. Because, as is intimated by the curl of his lip, it's not a concern for him.

"Haven't found my limit yet." He grins and leans up to kiss Clark hard again. "I like ropes and chains and pain."

"Would you like me to start looking for it?" he asks as he takes the kiss, deepens it, then leans down to press Bull against the bed again.

"If you think you can find it..." Bull chuckles and then nips at his lip as he pulls back slightly. "And if you think you're comfortable doing that."

[a_different_future]

"I could rip you to pieces with one hand," and there's no threat there, exactly. Just information. "Stab straight through you with my pinky finger. But that's all terribly boring."

He leans down for another kiss.

"Finding that line... that will take skill. Finesse. It should be fun, don't you think?"

Bull grins and kisses him back. "I am usually on the other side of that equation and yes. The real challenge isn't just to break them. That is easy. It is walking that line." He runs a hand over Clark's back.

"Between what thrills you," he continues as he rocks his hips against Bull, "and what thrills me. Without boring me or harming you."

"We might find things that thrills both of us." Bull says with a bit of a smirk as his hand slides down to cup Clark's crotch and gives it a firm squeeze

Clark's eyes go half-lidded at the touch before he tips his chin down to where Bull's hand is.

"You might want to unwrap me a little if you really want a taste of that. However you'd like a taste of it."

Bull grins up at him and reaches to pull his pants down, at least far enough to get access to what he wants. Then he scoots down so Clark is almost sitting on his face before he bends his head to wrap his lips around Clark's cock. He is pretty sure that is what the other meant at least.
